What does your family means to you? It is a responsibility or duty? I watched Money no Enough 2, and the part when the mother is sick, the brothers all are pushing the mother here and there, people who watched this movie will think ‘yeeeerr why the sons like this so bad.’ But in reality, I think 50% of people who gave this comment probably practiced the same thing to their parents.

Among us, there always exists this 1 or 2 heartless selfish bad aunty/uncle in the family. Whenever grandma or grandpa is sick, they will push the responsibilities to other siblings. And when they needed help, they will manipulate their old parents to the max. I wonder how did they change? They come from the same family, from the same womb, grew up in the same place but there will be children that care and love their parents so much and they will be some who doesn’t bother.

When my grandmother needed laser surgery for her cataracts, people who promised to take care of her in the hospital and pay for the medical fees disappear last minute. So in the end, my parents are the ones that stay back and took good care of her during her hospital stay. No matter how busy my mum is, she will always find time to rush to the hospital. We are not rich but just have enough money to pay for things that we need but when my grandma needs help, we will definitely find a way to help.

Sometimes I feel like slapping my relatives. When they needed my grandma to help take care of their children when they were at work, take care of their house when they were somewhere for vacation, they will suddenly treat her very nice for a week, buy her expensive food (you know how easy to bribe old folks la). When they doesn’t need her at all, for months they won’t come visit my grandma or give her a call. Even when she is sick and needed someone to fetch her to the doctor or to the pharmacy to buy medicine, they always turned her down.

And the money issue, I not sure why but seems like the richer the person become, the more ignorant they turned into. They could afford buying new cars, new house, and diamonds but couldn’t afford to buy healthcare products and better food for the old mother. I know money is important but as long as it can help you get all the basic necessities, get your kids to university, eat well, sleep well, I think that will be enough. Above all riches and wealth, there is always something greater called love. Without family, we will not have love and without love we will not have a life and without life, we have no reason to live.

Sometimes it makes me wonder how people can become so inconsiderate and selfish. They are your parents, the people that love you the most in this whole world. When you fall, they are the ones that hold you back from falling. When you are down, they are always there for you. And the most important thing, they gave you life, love and take care of you since you were born so that you can become whoever you are today. Back then, your parents might be poor and unable to provide you the best things in life but I know they tried their best and gave you all the best. If you have children, I believe you would want to give the best because there are no parents that don’t love their children unless that person really got something wrong.

Oh, that sweet child.

The weather is getting colder these days and the daylight saving started last Sunday so now the time difference between Russia and Malaysia is 5 hours. If anyone wish to chat with me or webcam with me, I’ll be available on most Sunday because internet is 90% off. ;-)

This is the most fun time of the year. You get to look at children when they dressed up for winter. Their mother wrapped them up in many many layers and plus the winter jacket as the most outer layer, the child looks like some huge balloon (neh looks like Digi yellow fattie!) with difficulties to move around freely. So cute! You will see the child attempt to stand up several times though he will keep falling due to imbalance weight of the clothing.

Perhaps when I’m financially able and married to a sweet hubby, I would apply to adopt a child, not sure from where. I believe that every child deserves to be given an opportunity to be loved, feel love and to love someone. Of course I would have my own kids too. I want a pair of unidentical twins of a boy and a girl.

I have a very odd habit. I love to do window shopping at children department store. I love to collect baby shoes. Even if I don’t wear them, I would keep a pair of this little shoe on my desk and Ken thinks that I’m sot sot dei (crazy). Christina is delivering her baby soon and so do Belle. Belle said her baby is definitely not a pinkie bimbo-ish type so I got her a pair of red shoes instead. Red is yeng enough kua. Belle hor?

Let me see… did I hear baby Belle Jr. says she lub lub the shoes a lot? Hoho.

Well this poor girl fall sick again and my whole body muscles ache. A really really good massage would help… a lot.

10 mins…. still uploading.
30 mins…. still uploading.
50 mins…. still uploading.
2 hours…. still uploading.
I’ve been sitting here for almost 2 hours waiting for photos to upload to my blog and facebook.

What’s wrong with the internet speed? Slowdown along with the economy?

Aaarrrgggh geram. Cis I got a lot of class photos to show =(.

So the 7 members from MMC came and go. They told us a lot of nice things, inspired us and confirmed not gonna derecognise 3 universities in Russia - Moscow Medical Academy, Russian State Medical Uni and Kursk State Medical Uni. I wonder are they going to Volgograd next? Oh and I finally saw Tan Sri Dr. Ismail Merican. Though people keep telling me he is famous and his photo is everywhere in the newspaper but then I dunno him and never seen him b4. He visited my room! I should have grab him and camwhore hor? Aiks lupa because the meeting with them was about 4-5 hours. Lapar sudah. Go masak.

But what I learn from reality, what our politician, big shot, datuk-datuk says, we can only believe 50% and ignore the other 50% because well… when someone is famous, wealthy and powerful, they are often good liars.

I guess my future should be either I work hard, get into postgrad programme bcom a specialist and earn 50k per month or find a good guy get married and become a happy housewife because to get into postgrad studies in Malaysia is harder than going to hell. Unless I could afford to pay to study in UK. Wish me best of luck.

MMC visit.

Some big shot by the name Tan Sri Dr. Ismail Merican from MMC (what’s MMC anyway? Malaysia Medical Council?) is coming to our university tomolo. Does anyone know who is that ka? When come to politician, datuk-datuk, ah gong, and who and who… I’m totally lost. I only know Penang CM is Lim Guan Eng and Dr. Chua Soi Lek(from sex scandal) nia. People told me that he received an award of Honarary fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland so his background should be quite keng.

He had visited Moscow Medical Academy and Russian State Medical University during the past few days. Not sure for what purpose though but ppppssssttt…. I heard he’s coming to derecognise our uni lor. Lol. Doctors graduated from Russia very char meh? I think we really boh kiu liao. Dota Dota Dota day and night. But I’ve seen some worse doctor from local uni ler. He can’t even differentiate pneumonia and chronic left heart failure complicated by right ventricular failure. Patient came in stupor condition, he told HOD, Glasgow coma scale is 15. *pening kepala.

The temperature dropped to -1 celsius this morning. Though they requested all the final year student to dress in formal to meet Tan Sri Dr. Ismail Merican…. haiya so last minute I haven’t iron my shirt yet la. I think I will just wear a turtle neck and go. Quite formal right… I think.

=D Hehehe…. lately I’m busy doing something else so my brain kind of jammed with something else. I got so many photos to edit before I post it up la. Feel so lazy =(. And Emmelina gave me a Butterfly award, also boh eng go claim yet…. well actually lazy. Hehehe. See tummy also grow as big pregnancy 25 weeks. Lol. I have a feeling my graduation photo will look terrible.
