Seems like things have expiry date. I’ve been living in Kursk for 6 years and my ceiling is always in good condition until…. In Russia, there were lesser celebrations and lesser reason for public holiday so I guess that’s why they celebrate international Men’s Day and Women’s Day like something very big and important event. They also have victory day, City day, they even celebrate the day when the Kursk submarine sank dunno how many decades ago. To [...] Today the temperature outside is -5 celsius and it hasn’t snow yet. The snow is pretty late lor this year compared to last year. Sign of global warming. The opposite site of the world is having a terrible ice storm. Aih, aih, I was anticipating for the winter group photos ler since this will be [...] Finally today is the last day of Obstetric & Gynaecology class after almost 1 month of cycle in the O&G department. Aiyo so tiring. Travel to the hospital take 1 hour, travel back another 1 hour. By 3-4pm when I reach hostel, halfday gone and I’m already half dead and will fall into coma state [...] 365 days of misery in Russia. And finally it came. The day that everyone has been waiting for, the Russian Easter Day, this coming sunday. The hospital for TB is located somewhere very secluded that we have to brave the storm, cross the seven seas, climb the mountains go up and down the hill, cross the river, walk pass the chickens and cows and long windy and rough road to reach [...] Our life in Russia is boring. What we do is eat sleep play study everyday. So once in a while, we will try to find things to entertain ourselves such as organising a concert or attending one. =D Of course, a lazy fella like me will go and attend one as an audience. After massive snowing for 2 days continuously, everywhere is covered by thick, white, shiny snow. And we couldn’t resist to go out to play in the snow. The snow looked really beautiful. The wind outside is so strong that it goes “wwwwooooooo~ wwwwoooooo~~…..” (sort of like some hantu perempuan making some noises to scare people away). Windows and doors keep on banging.
