Election soon, everything from bad turns good suddenly but not sure how long it will last. Bcos we all know that during election, they promise to give us this and that but when election ends and they win… promises are not fulfilled.

After all the doctors in malaysia overwork with underpaid salary for so many years, suddenly government decided to be so good to us by doubling our salary to RM6k per month. Of course, I’m happy to hear this and others feel excited as well. But then again… since the election is near and this time the competition is tough because a lot of people is on DAP side which including me and my whole family and most of my course mates here. Probably this is one of the trick that they use to help BN get more votes from medical students and HO.

I wonder will this amount of salary stays? Living in Malaysia for so long… i know this dream is too good to be true. Maybe suddenly when I finish my HO 3 yrs later, I will only get rm3k+ and perhaps the government will promise a higher salary for doctors in the next round of election.

And if you start questioning me why am I so money minded and as a doctor, I should put my heart in saving lives not thinking about money. But if you are a normal person with a properly functioning brain, if you don’t earn enough money, can you tell me:
- who gonna feed your children?
- who gonna repay back your parents for all the sacrifices made for your future? Afterall, they spent all the money that they earned in our education, as their children we should work hard to let our parents live a comfortable life.
- buy house, buy car no need money? Or u just continue leeching on ur parents, ask them to buy house and car for u until u get married and have kid?

If the medical system in our country need to be improved, I think firstly we need quality leaders. You know who to vote for right? Each vote make a difference.

Internet has been down for 2 days. Unfortunately there’s some donkey go mess with the hub and internet goes up and down every 5 mins. I can’t blog. I can’t send email. I can’t read blogs. I can’t reply comments. The most important…. I can’t talk to Ken! UUUuuurrrrgggghhh…. damn tu lan with the internet here.

And the weather is bad. So gloomy and dark all the time.

And I’m hungry! And there’s only 1 stove working out of 8… and I don’t know why people from the neighbouring unit with fully working stove in their kitchen must come and conquer our kitchen. Why? very suang to berebut stove with hungry ppl is it? And the point is, they dun come in a person, they come in a big group. Even if I have a portable stove, I can’t move around freely in the kitchen. Well, it’s kitchen mah… not a concert hall. How to fit more than 10 people in it?

I’m damn damn damn moody right now. I think it’s PMS. If I have a chance, I feel like stabbing the internet guy 100 times for making my life so miserable since internet is my only entertainment here.

Lately, I got no inspiration to write something good and I don’t want to bored anyone to death with my “8am wake up, 8.10am brush my teeth, 8.30am eat breakfast, 9am go class…” kind of post. And plus, there is someone who spam my post kao kao recently for whatever that I wrote till it makes me look so bad and I feel really tu lan and no mood. Though sometimes you don’t see the comment here but I definitely hear funny things when I walk out of my room. There are a few things bothering me now actually.

1. There’s a keji fella going around batu api-ing everyone and making people quarrel here and there. And this person also just posted 2 comments insulting the seniors and me from the same IP 195.3.254.103, origin from Kursk, Russia. And after narrowing down the 5% of reader from Russia… we all have someone in our mind. Yes, and that person is the same person from last year till this year that goes around to our blog and post stupid comment. Hello, are you stupid or did you left your brain in 3rd floor? No matter how many other people’s name and nickname that you imitate, the IP for these comments are the same. And don’t think that just because you uses someone else comp to post these comments, you can escape because you made the same stupid mistake by using the same email (lengchai@hotmail.com) and same nick AGAIN to post these comments. So I’m very sure you are the same same person in our mind.

2. Yes, recently there is some issue here for an upcoming event. Things become messy and everyone is unhappy because obviously there is someone out there doing something which make things worse. But everyone sat down together, had a talk and settled it in peace. So we are done with it, and yet that someone still want to mess things up and make people quarrel again. —> Refer here.

3. Hey you F*rking asshole can you go die far far away? U think I bought a domain for you to post nonsense comment in my blog wan issit? This will only show how low and despicable you are.

You can however ignore me this time, for once.

Sometimes the best way to keep ourselves away from all the troubles is to keep silent and act foolish and avoid all those people who bring you troubles. No matter how uncomfortable you feel with them secretly talking behind your back in front of you, no matter how BIG all the issues became, ignorance is a bliss.

Close one eye, don’t side on anyone and go on doing your own job. Oh I so hate those people who gila kuasa, those who manipulate others then throw them away. This whole week, I observed and listened. I wonder why do everyone have to quarrel over some small things, why is it people who volunteer to help were never given a chane to try, why can’t everyone is given a chance to speak. When there’s politics, it’s always ugly even if that person in charge is your close friend. When come to power and status and fame, sometimes friend will ditch you and become your enemy.

To be happy is to avoid being involve in the internal conflict.

On the extension of housemanship from one year to two years, Dr Chua said it was important for patients to get proper treatment from qualified doctors.

A total of 603 housemen failed to get fully registered from the 1,200 yearly from 2001 to 2004. It was 176 in 2001, 162 in 2002, 102 in 2003, 118 in 2004 and 45 two years ago.

“These figures are worrying for a developing country. It is nearly 10%. Most is for poor work performance and some of them just take unpaid leave and disappear because they say the medical profession is not suitable for them. This cannot continue,” he said.

A lot of malaysian medical students around the world but we are all just trying to avoid going back to Malaysia. The amount of students we have here in Russia is more than enough to fill in the shortage in our country but……

We have to work for 5 freakin’ years to get practising license. Then after that, post-grad course will take few more years. By the time I become a specialist, I’ll be old and weary. Which guy willing to marry someone whom they think is smarter than them a lot and OLD ler? Bcos male doctors usually will marry young nurses (that’s one of the intention of them studying medicine from the 1st place wud.) Good men from other field are usually taken much much more earlier bcos they graduate earlier, start working and earning money earlier than medical graduates… and of course also get married earlier.

I’m having a 20-ish mid life crisis here, desperate to avoid from being a spinster and feed on my parents money for the rest of my life. So if i have better offer, I think I’ll be in one of the list of housemen who refuse fail to register for the year 2009.
