Pelf and gang is doing A Turtle Blogathon for 24 hours to raise funds Turtle Conservation Centre. It begin at 9 pm on October 25th and end at 9 pm on October 26th, 2009 (Malaysian time, GMT +0800).
The Purpose
- to raise funds to protect our lovely turtles
- to learn more about things that you don’t know about turtles (you know where turtle come from meh? how they reproduce, how they pee, how they eat? dunno rite? dat’s why come and learn. The participating bloggers are expert in turtles so ask them any questions that you would like to know)
- to spread awareness about our turtles, they are dying out there and facing extinction soon bcos some people out there keep killing them.
- do this out of love.
Turtles are wonderful creatures and mysterious at times. If we don’t protect them, our children might not have a chance know them in future. Most of the turtles are facing extinction now and listed as endangered species by International Union for Conservation of Nature.
How to participate?
very easy.
1) Keep watching for updates from ur facebook, twitter, and TCC blog and keep up with the blogging team consist of pelf, Chan and Fong.
2) send in a list of questions you want to know about turtles to cp@turtleconservationcentre.org, and don’t forget to include you name/nickname and your blog URL/email address.
3) Spread the news, blog about this and place the badge below in your blog to support Pelf and the team.
